ABOUT STEPHAStepha is a Meanjin/Brisbane-based Artist. She is a self-proclaimed professional woo gal, creative wildcard and disco-obsessed bad betch. #bbe.
What does she *actually* do? Stepha is an international photographer, wildly experienced in commercial and branding photography for businesses. Her photography style has a recognisable edge that fuses colour, heart, grit and beauty. Stepha’s self-taught style is a harmonious mix of editorial photography [aka *the* moments] AND documentary photography [aka *the* moments in between]. Her photographic art captures a mood and captivates audiences’ hearts, dancing with inspiration whilst eliciting emotion.
Given her dynamic photographic experience and her innate creativity, she is also entering the world of Creative Direction — offering her unique vision to support businesses and projects to help them bring extra oomph.
Stepha is also a model, speaker, bby DJ, and content creator. She’s hosted and run events. She has run an e-commerce platform. She’s an ideas woman, a dreamer and absolutely distracted by all things sparkly. She is loveable creative chaos.
Beyond all the cool sh*t and titles, she is HUMAN AF. Sharing the real, raw and honest with her loyal and loving Instagram community.
Stoking Stepha’s fire to create, be. and do all of the above is her angel Mum, Coleen.
Stepha lost her Mum to suicide at the tender age of 17 and for the last 14 years, she has not only been courageously healing her broken heart but also sharing her journey along the way.
The gift of this enormous loss is a bittersweet reminder of the preciousness of life. Stepha will remind you to take and BE IN the photo, to speak the unspoken and to fiercely chase your dreams.
